Despite the existence of more than 320,000 healthcare apps, adoption rates are still in the single digits. Consumer innovation leaders are embracing chatbots because of their simplistic, interactive interface. Across the demographic spectrum, consumers know how to use texting to communicate. To better engage patients, healthcare providers must consider technology that helps scale the personalized care experience in a way that consumers prefer, on the medium they prefer. Chatbots may be the answer.
